SHSU Online is pleased to welcome Kristie Zientek as our newest Instructional Design Specialist.
Kristie, who describes herself as "a Bearkat for life," graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. general studies degree, minoring in English, Mass Communications, and Sociology. She also holds a M.A. in Instructional Systems Design & Technology, and is currently in the doctorate program for Instructional Systems Design & Technology as well. As she says, "It was my dream to work for Sam from the first time I set foot on campus - I loved everything about it!"
"I've spent the last eight years in a classroom teaching media technology," Kristie says, "but before that I spent 15 years specializing in media technology in the corporate world. I'm creative at heart, and in my spare time I'm always playing with either traditional or digital art media."
When she is not working in her studio, she prefers to spend time with her husband and two teenage girls.
SHSU Online is glad that Kristie Zientek has joined us, and wishes her well as she takes up her new duties.
