A number of notable achievements in online education by Sam Houston State University and SHSU Online are featured in the fourth annual Texas State University Online Annual Report, which was originally scheduled to be presented to the TSUS Board of Regents at their November meeting in Beaumont (the meeting has since been moved to a virtual setting, to be held on December 7).
SHSU Online is pleased to announce that you now have access to one of the largest digital collections of videos and lesson modules! LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) will be deployed campus-wide through an integration inside Blackboard, and access has been made available in all Spring 2021 courses.
In order to better support the blended-learning environment at SHSU, the Registrar’s Office has automated the cross-listing of courses selected by SHSU colleges, prior to their loading into Blackboard.
In support of digital teaching and learning in The Texas State University System, SHSU Online is hosting the first annual day of faculty development for digital education, virtually.
