During the first week of August 2021, two faculty members in the Department of Educational Leadership and one English Department faculty member at SHSU took part in this year’s Digital Pedagogy Lab (DPL).
Starting this Fall semester, SHSU Online will be implementing Qwickly Course Tools in place of the Qwickly tool that has been on Blackboard for many years. This upgrade will allow instructors the time-saving option to email their students or post announcements across multiple courses and sections at the same time.

Beginning this fall, Instructors will have a new way to create Turnitin assignments in Blackboard. Turnitin is one of the available tools for plagiarism detection, along with SafeAssign in Blackboard.
Blackboard Instructor is a mobile app that enables you to post announcements, view course content, modify settings, grade assignments, connect with students in discussions, and launch Blackboard Collaborate sessions… all from your smart device.
