In the spring semester of 2019, SHSU Online took the first steps in implementing the TSUS Shared Services Initiative. Sam Houston State University, Lamar Institute of Technology, and Sul Ross State University have become the first institutions to enter into the agreement.
At SHSU, where coordinated faculty support is paramount, faculty have access to a diversified training curriculum in pedagogy, tools, and course management, classroom facilitation, and more. In an effort to continue such support, SHSU Online will once again partner with other departments on campus to support the training programs of the Graduate Undergraduate Instructional Academy (GUIA).
