The first step in pursuing an online degree or certificate from SHSU Online is to learn about the requirements and procedures for applying, and to complete an online application. Please note that admission prerequisites and application requirements vary by program at the graduate level.

Undergraduate Students

Applicants pursuing a bachelor’s degree who have recently graduated or will soon graduate from high school or students who have completed less than 12 transferable college credit hours from another institution.

International Students

Non-U.S. citizens seeking a bachelor’s or graduate degree through SHSU Online.

Graduate Students

Applicants interested in pursuing an online master’s degree, doctoral program or other graduate level certificate.

Transfer Students

Applicants pursuing a bachelor’s degree with more than 12 hours of college-level credit from a community college or other institution.
