5th Annual TSUS Faculty Development Day for Digital Education by the Numbers
SHSU Online’s annual event to engage and assist instructors in teaching in a digital environment was a smashing success! #TSUSDEV24 garnered registrations from fifty different institutions, three countries, and twenty-one states! This year’s event broke records with a whopping 291 registrations.
The Blackboard Ultra Course View-related sessions brought in good numbers for attendance with the largest session having over 100 attendees. Average session attendance was 53. The last session of the day took place at 4pm on a Friday afternoon and still had a respectable 49 participants!
The Texas State University System Faculty Development Day for Digital Education attracted instructors, instructional designers, LMS administrators, educational technology professionals and academic leaders from all over.
Conference Feedback
#TSUSDEV24 sessions were well received by the attendees. Session participants were surveyed in three areas and the results were outstanding!
- 97% of attendees felt the sessions were relevant for instructional use
- 97% of attendees felt the sessions provided practical information for use in courses
- 98% of attendees felt that the goals and objectives were met in conference sessions.
