Zack MaloneSHSU Online is proud to announce the hiring of Zackari Malone. Zack joined the SHSU Online Support Desk in December of 2019 as a full time Technical Support Analyst I.

Zack recently told the SHSU Online Newsletter: “I am so thrilled to serve the faculty and students of SHSU in every capacity that I can and I am looking forward to expanding the abilities and capacity of the SHSU Online Support Desk.”

Zack graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications in 2011 (emphasis in public relations). Prior to joining SHSU Online, he worked over seven years in television broadcasting. His extensive experience with multimedia, and his ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems, will serve him well with the Support Desk.

“We are all very happy to bring Zack on to the SHSU Online Support Desk. He will be a great asset for faculty and students of Sam Houston State University,” says Daniel Walker, assistant director for SHSU online support services. Zack says, "I am absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to be a part of the SHSU Online Support Desk, and I look forward to serving faculty and students."

Zack is currently working on a second bachelor's degree at SHSU. When not at work, Zack enjoys watching Netflix, reading, eating, and attempting to learn Spanish and speak it fluently.
