This Month @ SHSU Online
During this exciting (and bewildering) time of new beginnings, it may be of practical assistance to highlight the resources and services that SHSU Online makes available to SHSU faculty and instructors teaching fully online courses, blended courses, and other course modalities in between.
SHSU Online is pleased to welcome Dr. Brian Miller as our new Director of Special Projects. Dr. Miller brings broad administrative experience to SHSU Online from posts in SHSU's College of Education and the College of Fine Arts and Mass Communication (now the College of Arts and Media).
Captioning is not necessarily the most glamorous part of any multimedia job, but it is something that needs to be done to meet SHSU's commitment to accessibility.
In the spirit of quality online teaching, several years ago SHSU Online developed articulations around nationally recognized, research-based quality assurance standards. In collaboration with seasoned SHSU online faculty, SHSU Online explored best approaches related to the essential components of online course design.
