Between Fall 2023 and Fall 2024, five TSUS Institutions will transition fully to the latest iteration of the Blackboard learning management system (LMS) – Blackboard Ultra. Sam Houston State University, Sul Ross State University, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College at Orange, and Lamar State College at Port Arthur will be making the transition to bring you and your students the best in online learning experience.
Blackboard Ultra is designed to provide a more user-friendly and engaging online learning experience for students and teachers. Key features include:
- Mobile-optimized design: Blackboard Ultra is designed to work well on mobile devices, making it easier for students and teachers to access course materials from their smartphones or tablets.
- Simplified navigation: The platform features a simplified, intuitive interface that makes it easier for users to find what they need.
