Starting in February, SHSU Online will kick off our “Digital Teaching Talk” podcast. This video podcast will cover topics important to instructors teaching in a digital environment.

Sam Houston State University has scored another first for online learning! SHSU's online information assurance and cybersecurity master's program ranks #1 among ZDNet's best online information systems security master's degrees.

The end of 2021 and the beginning of the new year has seen SHSU Online embark on a new phase of expansion, with the creation of several new positions and the promotion of several members of the department’s leadership team to new roles reflecting this growth. SHSU Online also welcomes Cristian Calvo, who joined the Support Desk as a Technology Support Analyst I in late November 2021.
Blackboard Instructor Boot Camp – A Good First of Many More to Come
In the November SHSU Online Newsletter, we introduced Blackboard Instructor Boot Camp, a weeklong, drop-in event for instructors who were new to Blackboard, or for those just needing to brush up on their skills. We are pleased to announce that 87 instructors from SHSU, SRSU, and LIT registered for the event.
