Affordable Student Course MaterialsFaculty Workshop

Textbook pricing is cited as a barrier to student access and success, and the issue has garnered the attention of public policy (Vitez, 2017).

Re-Imagining the First Year (RFY) is a project aimed at ensuring success for all students, particularly those who have historically been underserved by higher education: low income, first generation, and students of color. The SHSU RFY committee will be offering a faculty workshop to help you find, adopt, and create open educational resources (OER) and reduced-cost student course materials.

Please pre-register for our Faculty Workshop on Affordable Student Course Materials.
