SHSU Online is pleased to welcome Alfonso Almeida as our newest Instructional Designer!
An experienced Instructional Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, Alfonso is an expert in several LMS products, such as Moodle, Blackboard Learn, and Canvas. He has worked on several Instructional and Educational Technology projects, including world language courses, bilingual education (Spanish), and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. Alfonso is a seasoned user of Camtasia Studio, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere, and GoAnimate.
Almeida is a committed education professional with a Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) focused on Instructional and Educational Technology from Texas Tech University. He has worked with several state universities, including The University of Texas System (UT-Permian-Basin, UT-Pan-American, UT-RGV), Texas Tech University, and Sam Houston State University (SHSU).
